D15B3 carburettor butterfly valve problem?

I have a serious problem. My car starts and then stalls to the shutdown position without any reason. But noticed that butterfly valve is open at all when hot and not closing until the engine is cooled down. Please help me stabling my car. Plus tell me where can i set mt timing. I have three marks on the pulley. ||| and after some distance there is another |. Please reply as soon as possible as its the matter of my reputation. I have all the tools including timing torch.

The butterfly you are talking about is the choke. It is normally closed when the engine is cold and as it warms up it opens. Will open all the way when engine is at full operating temperature. It if starts then dies I would be checking for a fuel or ignition problem. As for timing, not sure what kind of vehicle it is
