Here are some more information for Camera Eyepiece:

Advice On Purchasing A Good Slr Camera
If you are serious about capturing the best photos possible whether it be for a personal or business requirement then you will need the right tool to do so. SLR cameras are the devices of choice when it comes to taking pictures that capture the moment as you see it. With a wide variety of SLR cameras on the market it can be daunting choosing the right brand and model, especially if you are new to the camera market. Below I will cover some of the most important facts that you need to know about slr cameras.
The 2 types of viewfinder available.
With the advent of digital technology taking hold of the camera market you will find there are basically 2 types of slr camera available for purchase. On one hand toy have models whereby you view the target via an eyepiece whereby what you see is the actual image seen with the naked eye, these models are increasingly common as well as popular. On the other hand you have models that still use an eyepiece but the target image viewed is processed via an integrated lcd. These integrsated lcd viewfinders consume power and in lower quality models lead to falsifying the resulting pictures compared to standard view models that don't incorporate lcd technology. For many it's important that they see the image seen by the naked eye to get the best results possible. Slr cameras models such as the Nikon D1 series and Kodak slr range have models to suit those that wish to do without the lcd viewfinder.
With or without interchangeable lens?
You will find that slr cameras at the lower price point do not allow for interchangeable lenses, but the zoom function may accept an accessory lens that can be attached on to the front of the camera. If you are looking to take some seriously professional pictures such as those taken by journalists and sport photographers then there are 3 features you need to consider. These are as follows:
- Burst Rate
- Capacity
- Latent Period
Burst rate is important in determining how many shots the camera will allow you to take in rapid succession. As a guideline 3fps is considered a minimum for professional use. Capacity refers tohow much the camera can store before it needs to process the information giving to it. Latent period is time it takes for the photos to be written to the camera memory shortly after the capacity has been used.

Point and Shoot for an elderly relative?
I know very little about P&S cameras because I only use DSLRs, but I was considering purchasing a digital P&S for my mother. It would have to be easy to use, have a big LCD, a card not too tiny for her to put in and out and not overly expensive (in case she doesn't get it! Around $100 or so) Also I would prefer if it has an eyepiece rather than just LCD viewer for taking the image. Any suggestions?
We bought a Canon A560 for my mother-in-law (indirectly...) with several of the same criteria in mind. Canon are the only P&S that I can say I'm familiar with now, so maybe someone else will talk about a different brand.
My set for you is as follows:
Canon A570 IS
Canon A590 IS
Canon SD1000 IS
Canon SD1100 IS
http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/compare_post.asp?method=sidebyside&cameras=canon_a570is%2Ccanon_a590is%2Ccanon_a1000is%2Ccanon_sd1100is&show=all
I added "IS" as a requirement for an older photographer. Unfortunately, I don't see anything with a CF card in your price range. The A590-IS is probably my first choice, but if you can find an A570-IS anywhere, it will most likely cost under $100. The A590-IS is about $50 or so higher. I'll let you read and interpret the specs of these cameras and I know you can make your decision or you know where to find me.
