makes a lot of noise, manual is in the most terrible non-understandable english ! Absolutly useless !
But it works though..
I have to test the network function..
The CD-rom installation files were wrong.. But I got it by mail from chinavasion.

Can I record a show on VCR using a converter box while watching another channel on digital tv via roof antenna?

want to be able to use my VCR to record shows while i am at work. Do you know if it is possible for my family to watch digital tv or a DVD while I am recording a different tv show using the VCR connected to the converter box. Do you know what set-up I will need to do with the cables, etc thanks

Yes. You will need to use a splitter on the antenna lead so the converter so you can use the converter without interfering with the live TV reception. You connect the new extra antenna lead to the converter.

It's best to use composite cables to connect the converter to the VCR. That way you just set the VCR to record from it's A/V input. You can use the converter's coax output instead, but the quality is lower and you have to remember to always have the VCR record the converter's output (channel 3 or 4).

With most converters you have to set the channel manually, which means that you can only record one channel while you are work.
