could you name some of the differences between Monocular compound microscopes Binocular dissecting microscopes and Phase contrast microscopes. Like which does these things 1 Has both Coarse and fine adjustment?
2Has a movable stage so that you can focus any part of the slide.
3Has Phase contrast
4 Remains in focus when changing objectives.

A monocular compound microscope is best used for visualizing specimens at 100X to 1000X magnification. While a Binocular (stereozoom) dissecting microscope is best used for visualizing specimens at 10x to 100X magnification. Phase contrast microscopy is used when your sample is colorless and you need to resolve detail by refractive index.

To answer your question specifically:

Monocular compound = 1,2,4

Binocular dissecting = usually none (however the better scopes will remain in focus when changing objectives)

Phase contrast = 1,2,3,4
