Any two adjacent notes are a half step, what size interval do you suppose two half steps would equal.
If you're going around the circle of fifths (clockwise), you're going up by fifths. But that's completely impractical so you go up a fifths, then down a fourth, then up a fifth, and back down a fourth. (sounds a lot like two steps forward, one step back)
So your next problem is B to Gb
... think enharmonically and you've got "Cb to Gb" or "B to F#"
