My Medela pump gave out... any suggestions on a new pump?

So, my sis in law gave me the Medela pump and all of the sudden the Adapter cord wont work and the batteries dont create enough suction.
I just spent money on new flanges, for larger nipples, and so I want to stay with Medela. But...only because I don't see any other pumps with larger flanges.
Are there any suggestions on Medela pumps or other brands? I just dont know what I need that will work.
I pump exclusively as my nipples are too large for my son to feed right from the breast. So it needs to be a pump that can be used a lot, not just occasionally.
Anyone have any opinions or suggestions on what is a good single pump??

I second the suggestion that you see if you can find a replacement AC adapter. One idea would be to take the existing adapter to some place like Radio Shack and see if they can help you find a suitable replacement.

I also second the suggestion of an Avent Isis hand pump. It makes for a great backup as well as something a little more portable to make it easier to pump on the go for those not comfortable feeding in public (it's a lot easier to pump discreetly in public with this thing than it is to feed discreetly).
