Digital (like mp3 or Ipod downloads) or hard copies (like CD's/tapes/records) (8 tracks..lol)?

I still stick mostly to CD's and 'records'. Tapes are now too old and worn out to play (which totally sucks cause I got a bunch of great bootlegs), my family never had an 8 track, and my turntable is in need of some slight repair but I still buy LP's. The Ipod and MP3 player thing is just not personal enough or something. I like having the "jackets" to read the album info and admire the art on them too. I also like that I might buy an album/cd for just one song and then end up finding some real gems on it that I otherwise would have not known.

I've got a good mix. I try to keep digital backups of all my cds. I would like to do digital backups of all my tapes and records as well, but it is much more of a process (you must listen to what you are recording the whole time, pay attention to when songs end ect. it takes a while. and for my collection it might be years before i find the time to get it all copied.) i dont download singles either, and i also love the jackets of albums.
