Is a "LensPen" ok to use to clean my Hyperion eyepeices?

I've got an optical lens cleaner made by LensPen. It says it's safe for all lenses. I'm a little skeptical about using it on my coated telescope eyepieces. Will it hurt anything? For those not familiar with this product, it is a pen with a retractable goat hair brush on one end and a carbon dry-cleaning head on the other end. Your supposed to brush off the visible contaminants and then gently rub the lens with the carbon pad until clean.

Yes, I have used it on my eyepieces with great success. I have a large one and a small one.

But, use an air puffer first to blow off the larger dust chunks.
