My CHI flat iron just broke?

So I have the GF 1083 35w model (the Lime Giraffe print one). I got it from my local ULTA Store. Well so I turned it one this morning not checking if the light came on and went to get dressed as usual, when I came back to do my hair I noticed that the light wasn't on; nor were the plates hot. I tried pushing the reset button on the plug, but that didn't do anything. I never dropped it or anything either.
What can I do about this? I threw away the receipt already, but is it possible for them to check in the system for my purchase since I have the rewards card? Or should i just go ahead and use the manufacturer warranty mail in thing?

Mine did that, and you have to like, reset the outlet it's plugged into. Try plugging it into a different outlet, and pushing the "test" and "reset" buttons. It's probably not broken, so that's good news!

And if it really is broken, it's probably still under warranty.
