i am using c18 column for two different products. the mobile phase is acetonitril with TFA for both products(solvent % differs). shall i use a single column for both? is it affect the RT?
it depends, u can use same column for two compound if you are washing the column properly and giving it time to stabilize before analysis, it is fine to use.
it also depend upon the nature of the product, if product is very sensitive, its better to keep separate columns
