Here are some more information for Lab Analyzer:

Fermentation Analyzers
Fermentation is the process by which living organisms are cultured or grown to specific products. The products can be as simple as baker’s yeast and alcohols and as complex as therapeutic proteins, antibiotics, enzymes and genetically engineered materials. Regardless of the product, fermentation reactions must be carefully monitored to gauge the health of the culture and to determine when the culture can be harvested. Since these are living organisms, the level of oxygen and carbon dioxide can be used to follow the progress of fermentation. The ratio of carbon dioxide to oxygen is called the respiratory quotient (RQ) and it is the prime indicator of culture health.
Fermentation is a process, where chemical changes are brought about using microorganisms- for production of pharmaceuticals, food addictives and animal feedstuffs. Respiration is the process whereby an organism oxidizes food to produce energy.
Fermentation analyzers are small rugged analyzers designed for use in microbial fermentation production and R&D laboratories. They can be used for both laboratory and InSitu fermentation measurement of many parameters. These are useful on both R&D scale as well as large volume production scale analysis and process control.
Features-
1. Low acquisition cost
2. Multiplexer for many insitu analysis points
3. Easy-to-use software
4. Fast and precise response makes it possible to determine the respiratory quotient with high integrity
5. Inexpensive compared to mass spectrometers
The Near Infrared Fermentation analyzer provides measurement results in seconds in the laboratory as well as online monitoring.
Benefits-
- Reduction in time and cost to get lab results
- Measures multiple properties in seconds
- Online integration for continuous readings of real-time process conditions
- Optimize the process to increase yield, reduce processing time
- Multiplexer allows for up to 20 reactors to be measured using a single analyzer.
Get glucose, acetate, glutamine, ammonia, ethanol, protein and many other key fermentation process parameters in real-time using fermentation analyzer. The fermentation process varies greatly with organisms behaving differently and metabolizing at varying rates. With in-process measurements, you can monitor the key parameters and optimize the fermentation process. On-line monitoring of fermentation provides fast results and can be incorporated into the process control system.

What could cause a frequency reading to be off when using a Spectrum Analyzer?
My company is using a 332D Anritsu Spectrum Analyzer to take measurements out in the field in the 900 MHz range. When measuring a receive frequency out in the field, the frequency measurement seems to be off. It seems impractical to think that the in reality the frequency is actually off, since the data is getting to the radio which is set up for the correct frequency. For instance, when measuring and looking for 928.4, the only thing that comes up is a signal several MHz off to the right at about 932 or more.
When testing in the lab with the same radios the frequency measured is correct so I believe the Analyzer is calibrated correctly.
What are possible causes to the frequency measurement being off out in the field other than the frequency indeed being what it reads? Could the cable we use to connect to the antenna cable be a problem? Any other ideas? Any input would be appreciated. Thank you.
This is a simple thing, but if you are using a wide span the frequency could easily be multiple MHz off. Make sure to bring down the span as much as possible and still have a viable measurement.
Also, out in the field obviously you can't use the 10MHz signal to lock the spec an frequency like you can in the lab between two pieces of test equipment. I don't know how much of a frequency shift that is likely to cause, though.
DMV: Lab never tested some ignition-interlock systems
An independent lab charged by the state DMV to test ignition-interlock systems as part of a certification process for vendors didn't test some of the devices last year.
