Is there a significant difference between a micro-centrifuge and centrifuge?

I am trying to decide between two centrifuges I want to buy online. One is a micro-centrifuge and one is just a centrifuge. I have only noticed two differences: one is that the micro-centrifuge holds smaller tubes, and the other is that the micro-centrifuge has a higher RPM. I want to buy the micro since the guy I am buying from lives closer to me, but are there any significant differences in regards to capability? I just don't want to end up buying something that is a waste... Thanks a lot guys for your help!

You'll want to buy based on what you need it for. Each has different RPM settings, so you'll need to know what it needs to be capable of, what size tubes you need, etc.
