Help Eczema Conditions by Reducing Dust Mite Populations
People everywhere suffer from the skin condition eczema and removing the possible causes is important. One of the major contributors to the eczema ailment is from dust mites. It has been reported that the second leading allergen that causes reactions in eczema sufferers is dust mites. The best place to start removing dust mites is in the bedroom where the are found in the largest concentrations. There are a number of methods that a person can put into practice in order to reduce the number of dust mites in the bedroom as well as in the remainder of the house.
The first thing that must be done is to consider the plan of attack for removal of the pesky dust mites. The first thing that must be practiced on a daily basis is to make sure everything is cleaned thoroughly and then to completely cover some of the items up in the room to ease the symptoms of eczema.
One of the items covered should be the bedding in the bedroom. Pillows and mattresses are the number one concentrated spot for dust mites. When the bedding and other items are covered with the right covering material, the dust mites will move for another place to live. In the case of covering bedding, a person's sleep will be more restful as time goes on. This will hold truly especially for atopic eczema sufferers.
Dust mites can not be seen with the naked eye, but be assured that they are there, just at a microscopic level. By covering the bedding, the dust mites will be prevented from burrowing down into the inner layers of them. An appropriate dust mite covering should be made of a material that has pores so small that it will not allow the microscopic animals to get through.
The other part of the plan of action against dust mites is to look at how the bedroom or other rooms are vacuumed. Most vacuum cleaner bags also allow open passage for dust mites. The average vacuum cleaner will have bags that will be successful at only collecting the larger pieces of dirt, but fail to collect the smaller and finer particles and in fact will help to move the small particles such as dust mites by blowing them about the room as you move the cleaner. When choosing a vacuum cleaner or the bags for the cleaner, the very small size of the dust mite should be thought of.
To accomplish cleaning successfully with a vacuum cleaner, the equipment should be a HEPA type vacuum cleaner with accessories. The HEPA filter is what is needed for doing the job right. Also of importance is that some equipment labeled as HEPA enabled is not actually HEPA capable. When purchasing HEPA equipment, it should be looked into further in how to determine the HEPA frauds from the real HEPA products.

I ovulated twice with no bleeding...?
Im TTC, and haven't had a period since mid Nov. I noticed this week that I ovulated twice in a row with no bleeding 3 weeks apart. I had the symptoms of ovulation: sore breasts, lower "ovary pains", ewcm.....then used the opk to confirm. (well a saliva microscope to get specific) thought i was pregnant the second time but got BFNs, then tried the opk. I don't know if I have been ovulating more before then cuz I started tracking it with microscope just recently. I called the doctor and I have an appt Monday to check my thyroid and other blood tests. The nurse also said that he might start me on Clomid.
Has anyone else had this happen? (The ovulation stuff)
And can anyone tell me a little more about Clomid? maybe some things I should ask about at my appt. Does anyone thats trying automatically get put on this? I thought it was for women that don't ovulate? Never really heard of this med until I came to Y-Answers.
Thanks in advance.. and baby dust to all others TTC!
This same thing happened to me in last month. However you did not ovulate. What happens is your body was gearing up to but you didnt. So then it tried again and then didnt. Your OPK will pick up the surge and your body will often get what looks like EWCM however that does not always mean you ovulate. The only way to know for sure that you ovulate is a Dr running your levels. I finally ovulated and am now pregnant, so just hang in there. Also you can not ovulate twice in a month. I also researched that.
First Cosmic Dust May Have Been Discovered By Crowdsource Hero [Science]
# science In 2006, a NASA spacecraft returned to Earth with samples that scientists hoped might contain cosmic dust, a byproduct of star formation. They let the public look for the elusive particles online. A squinting citizen might have just found one. More »
