Here are some more information for Microscope Extras:

Walt Disney World Resort
Disney World is located in Lake Buena Vista in Florida, just 35 miles south of Orlando. A bit of forward planning is needed for sure as there are 4 theme parks, 2 water parks, and for adults there's Downtown Disney and Disney's Boardwalk to get through.
As if all this isn't enough, the resort also offers golf, mini golf, tennis, boating, health clubs, spas and backstage tours (that is of course time permitting and if you have the energy for the extras after trudging around one of the theme parks for the day).
Tip: Do not miss a Disney parade - they're nothing short of spectacular. Check with the Disney staff for exact time and parade route.
Sea World
Sea World is located about 10 minutes to the south of downtown Orlando at the intersection of Interstate 4 and FL 528.
Shark encounter - as you progress through a 60 ft long tunnel you can almost hear that scary "thump thump" music from "Jaws"! This is probably the closest you'll get to these pretty fearsome creatures.
Take a look at the wild arctic exhibit with its walruses, beluga whales and polar bears. Keep an eye out for Sea World's most famous resident, Shamu, the killer whale.
Something else which may seem a little out of place here is those magnificent Clydesdales horses. Remember, the ones from the Budweiser beer add!.
Make things so much easier on yourself and opt for a tour of the attraction. This will take you behind the scenes - you can take part in a dolphin training session and you might even get an opportunity to feed the animals.
Add to all of this some cracking rides and shows and you've got one hell of an adventure for all the family.
Universal Orlando Resort
Here you have 2 theme parks to choose from, namely Universal Studios Florida and Universal Islands of Adventure.
Calling all adrenalin junkies, here's your chance for that ultimate buzz, on Duelling Dragons (a twin roller coaster. Another popular choice is the Hulk rollercoaster.
Adrenalin not pumping yet? Then how about trying "Revenge of the Mummy" or "Doctor Doom's Fearfall". With names like that I don't think these rides would be for the faint hearted!
There's something for everyone at these parks. Kids will have a ball at Woody Woodpeckers kidzone or Camp Jurassic. There's interactive fun for all the family with "Men in Black - Alien Attack" where you can have a little competition between you to see who has the best aim in zapping those aliens.
Orlando Museum of Modern Art
Orlando Museum of Modern Art was founded in 1924. Permanent collections on view at the moment include the African collection which contains a fine selection of beadwork, wooden figures and masks.
The American Art Collection which features paintings, drawings, prints and sculptures from the 18th century and onwards is well worth checking out. Keep an eye out for works by Thomas Moran, George Inness and John Singer Sargent.
Art of the Ancient Americas has pieces dating back to 2000 B.C. Enjoy artefacts from more than 30 different cultural groups made from silver, jade, stone, cloth and gold.
The museum hosts a number of temporary exhibitions during the year, so please check the website for further information.
Orlando Science Centre
Orlando Science Centre had its humble beginnings in 1960 as an anthropology museum. In the '70's its remit was changed and it became a science and technology centre until 1984 when it finally became known as the Orlando Science Centre.
The museum has a number of permanent features, for example a scanning electron microscope. Dr. Dare's lab lets you experience what its like to be a scientist (don't worry; there's a trained instructor on hand so you can't go too wrong mixing those chemicals).
Orlando Science Centre is definitely searching for those scientists of the future. They have a specially designated area for kids, "Kid's Town". The aim here is to get the kids interested in science through play.
You can wish upon a star and observe far flung galaxies and planets through the 10 inch lens of the refractor telescope at the Crosby Observatory.
A number of temporary exhibits are held during the year.

Developing Extra Sensory Perception
Most experts agree that most people have extra sensory perception or are able to develop it. Many of us have already experienced ESP. For example: Have you ever gotten the feeling the phone was about to ring…and it does? You are singing a song to yourself when you turn on the radio and the song you are thinking about is playing.
Some may attribute these events as coincidence, but then again perhaps there is something more taking place. Maybe there is no such thing as coincidence. Maybe we are tapping into our subconscious, or what many experts believe to be a shared consciousness or super consciousness, a collective consciousness that connects all people.
There are plenty of skeptics around, including scientist who because they are unable to reliably test ESP abilities or duplicate the test, they feel it couldn’t exist. ESP is difficult to test because it is unpredictable nature. There are few measurable indicators involved in ESP and ESP events are unpredictable.
One should remember however, that science is constantly changing their viewpoints and observations based on new information. After all, no one knew that an unseen world was among us, that of bacteria until microscopes were invented.
It is interesting to note though, that despite scientific skeptics, the government took an interest in an ESP ability, that of Remote Viewing, or telepathically locating a person, object or event that is far away. The government studied and experimented with remote viewing from about 1970 to 1990. There is one case in 1991 when a UN team approached a commercial remote viewing company, which was originally developed for the Department of Defense, for help in locating Iraqi biological weapons.
One of the first steps to take when developing ESP ability is to practice positive self-talk by telling yourself constantly that you are psychic. This may sound silly, but it is known that when a person learns something, whether it is a physical skill or mental skill like memorizing history time lines, it is best learned through repetition. Repetition rewires the brain for the task at hand.
After learning how to relax, start meditating. Take some time to go inside yourself by sitting in a relaxed position, listen to soft music or sounds of nature like rain, waves crashing against the shore or the song of seagulls or other birds, close your eyes and focus in on your breathing. Visualize a relaxing event, such as floating on a cloud or walking among flowers or a beach.
Experts generally agree that one way to develop ESP is through meditation. This is a mind exercise that will put your mind in a receptive mode to receive information through the ‘six’ sense.
Like anything else, developing your ESP ability will require practice. Your accomplishments will be hard to measure, which is the reason for people getting frustrated enough to give the practice up. It is important to be patient. Set some time to practice. We all need some time to ourselves anyway. In time, you will know whether it is working by the way you feel. You should feel more calm most of the time and you may find you are dealing with life in a more effective way.

2 Heads, 3 Bodies...What is the cause of Demise?
In a recent project, I came across an oddly developed fruit fly, or drosophila melanogaster. Upon microscope inspection, it was determined that this malformation combined to develop a conjoinment of 3 bodies, and 2 heads; technically, two conjoined flies, with the addition of an extra body. In the event that one fly died, is it possible for the other to survive, and remain functional? Please note that, upon discovery, the fly was able to move about, just as the others. In order to observe further it was sedated.
I would say that the remaining flies would live as long as any fly would(usually 24 hours I've heard.) I heard a story once where two twin girls were conjoined at the chest. One girl was a bit fatter and healthier than the other girl. It seemed that any nutrients that the smaller, malnurtured girl received was going directly to her sister. In response to your question, I do find it possible. Of course what would happen if you add other elements to the situation? If the fly were by itself, without nature, or humans to destroy it, then I'd imagine that both flies would survive for a time frame of 24 hours. They'd be living off of each others nutrients. Also, a similar reference can be made to a pregnant mother. The baby and the mother are doing fine. The baby gets some of mom's nutrients, and the rest goes to mom. But hey its not rocket science...no, its harder. Its fly science.
Does the Female Ennuch still have balls?
A few years ago, someone had the bright idea of designing a T-shirt with the slogan "This is What a Feminist Looks Like" running proudly across the chest. The Feminist Majority Foundation, selling them online, reported a run of orders from college campuses across America. In the UK, equality champions the Fawcett Society plugged the T-shirt on their website, asked prominent faces – from Tracey ...
