Modify led light controller for automated on and off?
Depending on what operation the piece of equiptment is doing, an led attached to a microscope that is attached to the piece of equiptment is to turn on and off. I am going to be using a different type of light that has an led controller with basic on, off, and light intensity switches. I want to modify the led controller to make the new light function the way the old one would using the same connection from the machine. There are four wires. A red, and black wire. Then a blue, and blue with white stripe wire. I am pretty sure that red and black are ground and power. The other two control when the light goes on and off. Could I do this by using a and gate? Any suggestions, information helps thanks!!
To clarify more I am using the wires from the back of the machine that send the signal that would tell the light to turn on or off.
