Can I use 110 volt Microscope with 240v mains power?
I see the microscope has a variable slider which i am summises is a voltage regulator or variable resister or something.
What i am wondering is if i only over take the slider to half its maximum do you think that would be something i could do , in lieu of using a transformer.
I intend on buying a transformer but was keen to have a look through the microscope.
edit. the power only controls the halogen bulb .
the voltage here is 220 or 240 I think , but the voltage quoted as required for the halogen bulb microscope is 110v as it from the united states.
