Zeiss Microscopes?

I want to purchase an old inverted microscope. I know Nikon changed their objective formats a few years ago. Does anyone know if you can still find objectives for a 15 year old Zeiss inverted microscope? I called Zeiss today and the sales rep said, "humm interesting question." He had no idea. I tried calling their service department and they were too busy. They will get back to me later. I thought maybe there would be a microscope expert out there who could help me out.

I own a Zeiss microscope, but I don't know the exact answer to the question, but I can give you 2-ways to find out:
1. Go to sci.techniques.microscopy and post a question here. The people that answer questions on this group are really proficient and can give you good advice.
