which is best optical mouse or laser mice?

i think mines is laser there is no ball underneath but seen an optical one wireless and rechargable fo only 9.99 dont know wether to buy or just keep the corded one ive got

Asda do a Trust optical cordless mouse for about 6.95, The receiver is a tiny usb thing and the batteries are lasting me a couple of months at a time. Very recommended.

P.S. optical mouse is the same thing as laser mouse.
