Are you allowed to bring a small notebook/small bible/small photos/watch/small jewelry to Navy basic training?

I have a small 2"x3" picture of my mother and father and a picture of my yellow lab Marley Sue the same size.

the picture and bible are fine. the notebook.. maybe, maybe not

leave the cross at home.,. too much potential for it to be lost or damaged. if you must wear one make it plain , NOT a family heirloom. the locket WILL NOT be allowed in any event. nor will the ring. only wedding bands..and even then for safety it is not recommended.
