When I was there I always bought the cheapest milk powder (from N.Z.) The price was then suddenly further reduced (to half the next cheapest product) but it very quickly disappeared from the powdered milk shelf at AUCHAN SUPERMARKETS. Eventually I found it in the baby food dept. This was indeed melamine milk powder, altho I forget the name. This was 2 years before the scandal broke. CLEARLY they knew already that it was poisonous, but why did they transfer it to the baby food dept? It was never marked as baby food.
