How can I statistically compare gradients of several linear regression lines.?

I wish to compare relationships that exist between 2 experimental parameters i.e. rate of calcium release and rate of calcium removal under 8 different conditions. I have generated X,Y scatter plots and carried out linear regression analysis using the least-squares method. As a result I have r2 values (goodness of fit), significance values (testing whether the gradient is significantly different to zero) and values representing the size of the gradient/slope.

How do I go about comparing whether the gradient differs between each of the 8 experimental conditions? I am using GraphPad prism software and would ideally compare the gradients using this (or similar software). I am not a mathematician (but a biologist), so lets not make the answers too complicated if possible.

Thanks in advance everyone who answers!

Each gradient will be a mean value, and the software should also give you a standard deviation for that value.

Examine how much overlap there is between the gradient values +/- n standard deviations. EG if there is significant overlap of ALL the ranges at n=1, then it is very likely the gradients come from the same distribution; whereas if even at n=5 there is little or no overlap in the 8 ranges, it is almost certain that they are from different distributions, ie the gradients are different.

IT key to successful e-health record rollout
Editor's note: This is the second part of a two-part look at the planned rollout of e-health records in the U.S. Part 1 is already available . Hospitals and physicians have four years to deploy comprehensive electronic health records (EHR) systems and the technology needed to support them if they hope to snag some of the billions of dollars the federal government has earmarked to reimburse them ...
