How long before Solid state drives replace disk drives as the main type of computer storage?

The arguement has been that the price difference between them is to great but the price of solid state drives is coming down real fast so just how long will it take for solid state to be the main type of storage?

The price isn't the only issue. There is also the junk controllers which cause them to be slow, and have severe write and life issues. Whenever they clear up all the issues with them, could be a few months, could be years, who knows.
