Medela Pump in Style lost suction, please help?

I exclusively pump - I noticed that my breast pump lost suction lately (after 3 months of intense use) and I don't know what to do - I cannot afford another electric pump - I was thinking about buying a manual one -

I don't see the point of replacing the membranes - would you please tell me the reason?

i dont know if this applies to your pump. but my pump has the rubber tubes. i usually cut the tips off every once in a while to get a better suction at each end
