If I tan in a tanning bed will it help pimples that I get on my back in the winter?

Does the ultra violet light help skin rashes/pimples/sores? Or make them worse? Would a heat lamp help?

PLEASE DONT TAN, i know a friend that died from tanning. THE RAYS ARE BAD FOR YOU ! trust mee its not good for ur skin and i also know someone who was pregnant and tanned..she miscarried at 3 months
