How do I clean my rabbit's pee without a litter box?

My rabbit, Wafer, is very new to our family. (we just rescued him from a park yesterday) He finally decided where he wants to go pee!! (yay!) Now, I don't have to guess about where the placement should be of things like water, food, and toys. I heard that litter boxes for rabbits can be a waste of space/money, considering you can apparently clean up rabbit remains without one. I was just wondering how to do that. Picking up poo is easy, just pick it up, put in a bag, and sanitize your hand afterwards! But picking up pee? I am very new, and right now there is a wet, warm spot in my rabbit's cage. I'm thinking, I just scoop it out with a litter holder thing, and dumping it out, and putting fresh bedding in. Would a litter box actually end up being the better solution? My rabbit is HUGE, and his cage looks teeny when he's in it. (it's actually 28"x17") I would hate to make the space even smaller with a litter box.

Litter box is way clean. I wouldn't keep a rabbit without one. The corner litter boxes dont take up too much room, and they actually benefit the rabbit more. I just take mine out every other day and dump it, and then put new litter in it. It's alot easier than cleaning it with paper towels or gloves.
